About Us

Dee Why School for Seniors was formed as an outreach initiative 50 years ago by the Dee Why Uniting Church.  This was done to counteract loneliness among seniors in the area. Dee Why School for Seniors is a volunteer educational programme held at St David’s Uniting Church, 3 St David’s Ave Dee Why.

Dee why School for Seniors offers a wide variety of courses and activities such as:

  • Tai Chi (All Levels)

The Volunteers have created so much
togetherness and good memories

The School opened in 1973 and has grown and developed providing adult classes for the local community to enjoy.

For 50 years it has been a valued space for artists, crafts, languages, musicians and exercise classes.

We continue to encourage learning, social
connection and wellbeing for Seniors.
